New 12-month transactions add 2.4 million barrels of annual sales volume

Dallas, TX, Aug. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Vivakor, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIVK) ("Vivakor" or the "Company"), an integrated provider of energy transportation, storage, reuse and remediation services, today announced that its subsidiary, Vivakor Supply & Trading, LLC (“VST”), has entered into new 12-month crude oil purchase and sale transactions, further expanding VST’s crude oil trading portfolio and advancing the Company toward a significant milestone in annualized commercial activity.

Under the new transactions, VST has contracted to sell an aggregate of 200,000 barrels of West Texas Intermediate (“WTI”) crude oil per month, representing approximately 2.4 million barrels of annual sales volume. The transactions are scheduled to commence September 1, 2026, and continue through August 31, 2027.

“These transactions represent another important step in the continued expansion of our supply and trading business,” said James Ballengee, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vivakor. “We continue to add recurring volume and commercial activity to the VST platform. With another 2.4 million barrels of annual sales volume represented by these agreements, Vivakor is rapidly approaching $2 billion in annualized commercial activity, a significant milestone for a business we have been aggressively building and scaling.”

Ballengee continued, “We believe we are still in the early stages of realizing the opportunity in front of us. Our growing commercial relationships and expanding infrastructure capabilities are creating additional opportunities across the platform. We expect this momentum to continue as we execute our strategy and pursue the next phase of Vivakor’s growth.”

Vivakor expects to continue expanding VST’s physical crude oil marketing activities as the Company pursues additional commercial opportunities across its integrated energy platform.

Consistent with standard physical commodity marketing transactions, VST only recognizes a small percentage of the total contract value as gross profit, reflecting its role as an intermediary in the physical crude oil supply chain. Accordingly, the gross profit recognized by VST will represent only a portion of the estimated commercial activity described above and will vary based on market conditions, commodity pricing, transaction structure and delivered volumes.
