PwC and Anthropic said they are broadening a strategic collaboration to integrate the Claude suite of generative AI tools into PwC’s internal operations and client work. Engineering teams reported moving from multimonth sprints to shipping production software in weeks using Claude Code.
Healthcare provider Advocate Health is cited as preparing for full-scale deployment of Claude across its 167,000-person workforce. Andy Crowder, Chief Digital and AI Officer at Advocate Health, characterized the collaboration with Anthropic and PwC as focused on building a technology foundation enabling staff to deliver more for patients and communities, including rural areas.
Within PwC’s internal tooling, Claude is accessible through ChatPwC and is already in production on client engagements. The firms noted three active AI incubation pods that are operating in Finance, Supply Chain, and Deal Making. Claude Cowork is planned to operate directly inside spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications and to link with enterprise data via Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol.
The companies described the arrangement as the most significant commitment within Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network, noting that the network represents a $100 million investment made this year.
