Brazilian equities ended the trading session in Sao Paulo on Wednesday with notable losses, led by the Financials, Industrials and Real Estate sectors. The Bovespa closed down 2.05%.

Declining issues outnumbered advancing ones at the B3 Stock Exchange by 607 to 354, while 34 stocks finished unchanged.
Measures of market sentiment and related markets moved unevenly. The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility index, which tracks implied volatility for Bovespa options, ticked lower by 1.18% to 31.79.
Commodity markets showed mixed activity. Gold Futures for June delivery were down 1.12% or 51.44 to $4,556.96 a troy ounce. In energy markets, Crude oil for June delivery climbed 8.02% or 8.01 to $107.94 a barrel. The July US coffee C contract was unchanged at $290.70.
Currency moves during the session included a 0.60% rise in USD/BRL to 5.00 and a 0.23% increase in EUR/BRL to 5.87. The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 98.81.
