On the TA 35, NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) was the session's top performer, advancing 3.50% to settle at 30,790.00. Migdal Insurance (TASE:MGDL) also finished higher, rising 3.22% to 1,795.00, while Menora Mivtachim Holdings (TASE:MMHD) gained 2.57% to close at 49,130.00.

Not all large-cap names fared well. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) led decliners on the benchmark, slipping 4.72% to 40,600.00 at the close. Next Vision Stabilized Systems (TASE:NXSN) fell 4.67% to 22,640.00, and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 4.05% to 10,430.00.

Market breadth was negative at the end of the session: 288 stocks fell versus 186 that rose, while 84 issues finished unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.


Commodity markets tracked lower alongside the local equity decline. U.S. crude for September delivery dropped 6.08% (a fall of 5.15) to $79.52 a barrel. Brent crude for October delivery fell 4.87% (a decline of 4.28) to $83.65 a barrel. Among metals, the December Gold Futures contract eased 0.37% (down 15.03) to trade at $4,091.97 a troy ounce.

Currency markets showed small moves against the shekel. The USD/ILS pair was down 0.32% to 3.04, and EUR/ILS fell 0.55% to 3.50. The U.S. Dollar Index Futures was marginally lower, down 0.03% at 99.76.

The session's top and bottom performers and the commodity and currency movements provide a snapshot of market positioning at the close, with select insurers and technology-related names posting intraday strength while several industrial and pharmaceutical names recorded outsized declines.
