Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) fell 2.22% or 700.00 points to 30,870.00, while Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) declined 1.83% or 210.00 points to close at 11,290.00.

Market breadth favoured advancers, with 308 stocks rising versus 166 that fell on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange; 85 securities finished unchanged.


Commodities showed mixed moves in nearby contracts. Crude oil for October delivery slipped 0.01% - down 0.01 to trade at $82.22 per barrel. Brent crude for November delivery increased 0.21% or $0.18 to $87.12 a barrel. Precious metals edged lower, with the December Gold Futures contract down 0.17% or $8.09, trading at $4,645.21 per troy ounce.

Currency pairs involving the shekel moved modestly: the USD/ILS rate fell 0.33% to 2.96, and the EUR/ILS rate decreased 0.31% to 3.45. The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged at 99.09 at the time reported.
