On the downside, Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) slipped 1.53%, down 180.00 points to 11,580.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 1.42% or 115.00 points to end the session at 8,012.00. Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) fell 1.37%, a drop of 360.00 points, to finish at 26,000.00.

Market breadth and participation

Advancers outpaced decliners on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 355 to 98, while 105 issues finished unchanged, indicating broad participation in the rally.

Commodities and currencies

In commodity markets, crude oil for September delivery rose 2.55% or 2.13 to trade at $85.72 a barrel. Brent oil for October delivery increased 1.91% or 1.66 to $88.54 a barrel. The August Gold Futures contract declined 1.43% or 58.50 to $4,041.60 a troy ounce.

On the currency front, USD/ILS was unchanged 0.12% to 3.06, while EUR/ILS fell 0.25% to 3.51. The US Dollar Index Futures moved up 0.29% to 100.01.

Overall, the trading session closed with the TA 35 higher by 1.32%, supported by sector-specific gains and a positive advance-decline differential.
