Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) retreated 7.67% or 52.00 points to finish at 626.00, and Takween Advanced Industries (TADAWUL:1201) slipped 4.04% or 0.20 points to end at 4.75.

Market breadth was positive: 232 stocks advanced versus 82 that declined, while 21 issues were unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

Commodity markets were mixed during the session. Crude oil for September delivery rose 1.29% or 1.08 to trade at $84.67 a barrel. Brent crude for October delivery increased 1.22% or 1.09 to $90.12 a barrel. In contrast, the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.29% or 53.60 to trade at $4,107.00 a troy ounce.

Currency pairs involving the Saudi riyal showed minimal movement: EUR/SAR was unchanged, registering a 0.02% move to 4.33, while USD/SAR was also unchanged at a 0.02% move to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 99.79 at the time reported.
