Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) slipped 1.57% or 1.54 points to 96.56, while AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) dropped 1.49% or 23.00 points to finish at 1,522.50.

Market breadth on the Stockholm Stock Exchange showed more rising issues than decliners, with 367 stocks up, 340 down and 80 unchanged at the close.


Commodities and currency moves

Energy markets were active during the session. Crude oil for September delivery climbed 3.44% or 2.59 to $77.81 a barrel. Brent oil for October delivery rose 3.90% or 3.10, settling at $82.55 a barrel.

Precious metals were softer, with the December Gold Futures contract retreating 0.30% or 13.05 to trade at $4,292.15 a troy ounce.

On foreign exchange, EUR/SEK moved up 0.09% to 10.96, while USD/SEK increased 0.35% to 9.52. The US Dollar Index Futures gained 0.32%, trading at 99.86.
