Meta announced Meta One on Tuesday, a new subscription offering that packages expanded artificial intelligence access and other enhanced capabilities across its social platforms. The company reported that 15 million users have signed up for subscriptions and trials to date.
The new service groups more than 50 features spanning Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI. Meta emphasized that the basic experience on its apps and Meta AI will continue to be available at no cost.
Meta One is structured around single product plans and bundled plans targeted at individuals, creators and businesses. Single product subscriptions begin at $2.99 per month. Individual bundle plans start at $7.99 per month, while creator and business bundle plans are offered from $14.99 per month.
Earlier this year, Meta introduced Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus as standalone options. Those single product plans have now been incorporated into the Meta One lineup.
The bundled offerings are organized into Core and Premium tiers that combine features from the single product plans and extend access to AI tools. Included capabilities cover media generation with Meta AI, image creation and editing, video generation powered by Muse models, and in-app AI functions such as the Restyle tool on Instagram.
According to Meta, early testing showed that more than half of subscribers who chose bundled plans used both AI features and expression-oriented features included in the packages.
For creators and businesses, Meta One adds professional-grade tools. Those features include enhanced profile options, automatic follow invitations and broader access to Meta Business Agent for automating customer responses.
Business and creator subscriptions are offered in tiers ranging from an Essential level at $14.99 per month up to a Max tier at $499 per month. Higher-priced plans provide advanced publishing functionality, options for team access and increased capacity for Meta Business Agent.
Meta said the service will expand over time to cover additional capabilities and platforms, including Edits and AI glasses. The company also plans to introduce Edits Plus, which will provide more cloud storage and grant access to an upcoming Edits assistant intended to analyze Instagram insights.
Meta cautioned that plans, benefits, pricing and availability will vary by region, by app and by account type.
Context and implications
Meta One consolidates prior single-product paid options into a single subscription family while layering expanded AI-driven content creation tools and business-facing automation. The move makes a wider array of media generation and editing tools available under tiered pricing aimed at casual users, creators and companies that interact with customers on Meta platforms.
