On the downside, Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NUTRESA) posted the largest decline among major names, falling 3.06% or 9,700.00 points to close at 307,300.00. Grupo Argos SA (BVC:GRUPOARGOS) decreased 2.21% or 500.00 points to 22,080.00, while Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BOGOTA) slipped 1.49% or 580.00 points to finish at 38,400.00.

Commodities traded mixed during the session. US coffee C for December delivery declined 2.46% or 7.15 to $283.35. US cocoa for December delivery fell 2.71% or 163.00 to $5,860.00. The December Gold Futures contract decreased 0.43% or 18.50 to trade at $4,333.40 a troy ounce.
