Cury Constrtutora e Incorporadora S (BVMF:CURY3) added 4.52% or 1.36 points to end at 31.50, while C A Modas SA (BVMF:CEAB3) rose 3.60% or 0.34 points to close at 9.77.

On the downside, Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (BVMF:CSNA3) fell 6.82% or 0.33 points to trade at 4.55 at the close, moving to five-year lows. Prio SA (BVMF:PRIO3) dropped 3.86% or 2.35 points to finish at 58.70, and Petroreconcavo SA (BVMF:RECV3) declined 3.19% or 0.34 points to end at 10.33.
Market breadth and volatility
Advancers outnumbered decliners on the B3 Stock Exchange by 565 to 411, while 38 issues ended unchanged. The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, fell 3.34% to 27.24, registering a new six-month low.
Commodities and FX
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery were up 0.08% or 3.10 to $4,110.10 a troy ounce. Crude oil for September delivery declined 5.40% or 4.57 to $80.10 a barrel. The December US coffee C contract moved lower by 2.89% or 9.10 to trade at $305.55.
In currency markets, USD/BRL rose 0.14% to 5.08, while EUR/BRL increased 0.30% to 5.87. The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 99.86.
