JERSEY CITY, N.J., Aug. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Moomoo, a leading global investment and trading platform, today announced a new multi-year partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (“LPGA”), to launch the Futu Ladies World Championship Presented by moomoo, a new women’s professional golf tournament set to debut in Hong Kong on March 4–7, 2027.

As part of the multi-year partnership, moomoo will serve as presenting sponsor of the Futu Ladies World Championship, to be held annually from 2027 through 2029 at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club. The inaugural edition of this premier event will bring 78 of the world’s leading professional golfers to Hong Kong to compete for a $3.4 million purse, the highest prize money for an LPGA tournament in Asia, and set a new benchmark for women’s professional golf across the region.

"Moomoo's partnership with the LPGA is meaningful because we're bringing an exciting tournament with global stars to an elite destination venue, but more than that, it's about investing in women's sports and the incredible athletes who deserve this kind of platform," said Neil McDonald, CEO of moomoo U.S. "These players are world-class, and we're proud to join the LPGA in creating a global stage that matches their talent. This is about championing women's golf and helping grow the sport for the next generation."

The partnership brings together global communities united by a commitment to strategy and growth. Much like the world’s leading golfers analyze conditions, refine their strategies and make precise decisions on the course, investors navigate changing markets by leveraging information, technology and insights to make more informed decisions. Through its technology-driven platform, moomoo aims to empower investors with the tools, data and education to continually learn, adapt and make more informed investment decisions.

With more than 30 million users worldwide, moomoo continues to expand its global presence while finding new ways to connect with the communities it serves. The partnership marks a significant expansion of moomoo’s presence in major sports, building on the company’s strategy of engaging investors and fans through partnerships centered on shared values of preparation, strategy and long-term performance.

“Our fans across Asia have always been some of the most passionate in the world, and going to strong markets that match that energy matters to us—we couldn't be more excited to bring the Tour to Hong Kong,” said LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler. “This event checks every box we look for: a championship-calibre course, a market ready for the Tour, a perfect fit within our spring Asia swing, and partners who share our vision. We're very thankful for Futu and moomoo, whose support made it possible to host an LPGA Tour event at a venue like The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club, with a $3.4 million purse—the largest of any LPGA Tour event in Asia.”

Additional details regarding the Futu Ladies World Championship, including competing players, fan experiences, and programming, will be announced in early 2027.
