George Town, Cayman Islands - Atlas, a blockchain oracle infrastructure provider backed by CoinMarketCap (CMC), announced that it will take over the oracle services that had been operated by Binance Oracle. The change in stewardship covers the delivery of price feeds and related data across BNB Chain, opBNB and other applicable networks.
Binance Oracle has initiated a 90-day handover period during which Atlas will progressively assume operational responsibility for the affected services. Projects and partners currently using Binance Oracle are being urged to contact the Atlas team promptly to coordinate the technical, product and operational details required for a smooth migration and to preserve service stability.
Atlas is promoting a higher degree of configurability at the protocol level for migrating projects. The company says this allows teams to tailor how they consume on-chain data by choosing aggregation approaches such as median, TWAP, VWAP and trimmed mean. Additional configurable parameters include per-pair staleness thresholds, confidence bands and update cadences. For protocols moving from Binance Oracle, Atlas frames these options as preserving continuity of service while expanding the controls developers have over their data infrastructure.
An element Atlas highlights is direct access to CoinMarketCap’s primary data infrastructure. That pipeline aggregates pricing information from over 905 sources, a breadth Atlas states is well above what it describes as the current industry standard. The company says this scale supports robust outlier filtering and more accurate price discovery, including for long-tail and recently listed assets.
Atlas also points to its proprietary Consensus Score mechanism as an additional layer intended to secure price credibility. The mechanism evaluates availability, consensus and volume support and, according to Atlas, enables immediate coverage for long-tail assets without the delays associated with manual onboarding.
Operational readiness for the new arrangement is demonstrated by completed integrations with multiple major BNB Chain protocols. Atlas has already integrated with Venus Protocol and Lista DAO, which the company presents as references for other projects planning migration from Binance Oracle.
"Our priority right now is the developers. Migrating infrastructure is always a heavy lift for any protocol, so we’ve designed this process to be as straightforward as possible. We are stepping in not just to maintain these feeds, but to upgrade them. By routing this data directly through Atlas’s first-party infrastructure, we’re giving these projects access to a much deeper, more resilient data layer." - Jin Choo, CEO of Atlas
Atlas warns that projects that do not engage with its team and complete the necessary migration arrangements within the 90-day transition window risk service interruption, data unavailability or delayed updates. To mitigate these risks, Atlas has set up a dedicated support channel to assist integrations. The company strongly encourages teams currently on Binance Oracle to begin migration planning immediately to minimize the chance of disruption.
About Atlas
Atlas is a blockchain oracle infrastructure provider that leverages first-party data from CoinMarketCap to provide configurable, permissionless data feeds. Its services, secured by the Consensus Score mechanism, include high-frequency price feeds and other data products for DeFi protocols, decentralized applications and institutional users across leading blockchain ecosystems.
About Binance Oracle
Binance Oracle is a service developed by Binance to link smart contracts with verified off-chain data, originally built for the BNB Chain ecosystem. It enables decentralized applications to access real-world information without managing their own data pipelines, allowing developers to concentrate on product development rather than data reliability.
