(IS:PATEK) also posted a strong advance, up 9.95% or 2.08 points to end the session at 22.98.


Largest decliners

On the downside, Odine Solutions Teknoloji Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (IS:ODINE) recorded the steepest drop, down 9.96% or 96.00 points to close at 868.00. Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dis Ticaret AS (IS:PASEU) fell 9.95%, a loss of 11.50 points, to finish at 104.10. Property developer Emlak Konut Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:EKGYO) declined 7.47%, or 1.68 points, ending the day at 20.80.


Commodities and FX moves

Commodities moved unevenly during the session. Gold futures for December delivery were down 1.10%, a fall of 48.86, to trade at 4,411.84 per troy ounce. Crude oil contracts strengthened: October delivery rose 4.59% or 4.41 to $100.46 a barrel, while the November Brent contract increased 4.71% or 4.77 to $105.98 a barrel.

Currency markets showed modest changes against the Turkish lira. The USD/TRY rate was up 0.04% at 48.49, and EUR/TRY rose 0.16% to 56.53. The US Dollar Index Futures was higher by 0.09%, trading at 98.90 at the time referenced in the session.


Overall, the trading day was marked by a larger number of declining stocks and notable single-stock volatility, while commodities and FX exhibited mixed directional moves that coincided with the market's downbeat close.
