Outpoll announced the rollout of a perpetual futures trading venue embedded within its existing prediction market application. The release merges event forecasting and derivatives trading into a single workflow, allowing users to make forecasts, open leveraged positions and monitor all activity from a unified balance and dashboard across the web and its mobile app.
The company positions the integration as a solution to a common multi-platform workflow. Traditionally, a trader who expects a Federal Reserve interest rate cut might place a forecast on one service, move to a separate exchange to trade an index, transfer funds between platforms, and then execute a leveraged position. Outpoll now allows both the forecast and the derivative position to be held and managed in the same account, with the same balance, eliminating platform switching for those paired strategies.
How the two product types complement each other
Outpoll highlights the difference between prediction markets and futures: prediction markets aggregate opinions about outcomes, while futures provide the means to directly profit from price moves. Most existing venues offer one or the other; prediction platforms rarely provide leveraged derivatives, and derivatives exchanges generally do not offer event contracts. By combining both mechanisms within a single application and shared balance, Outpoll aims to let forecasts and hedges coexist without moving capital between services.
Assets and contract structure
The Trading section supports three broad asset groups quoted against USDT and USDC. The platform lists over 80 crypto pairs, more than 20 stocks and indices (including named references to AAPL and MSFT, and index exposures such as SPX500), and four commodity pairs. Every offering is a perpetual contract, so there is no expiry to roll, and traders may go long or short with leverage of up to 100x.
Examples of instruments presented in the user interface include major equities and indices alongside crypto and commodity exposures. The platform displays market data, charts and strategy suggestions within the same environment where event forecasts are made, enabling traders to move from analysis to execution without switching accounts.
Trader toolkit and order functionality
Outpoll lists a full set of order types and risk controls commonly expected in derivatives trading:
- Isolated and cross margin modes
- One-way and Hedge mode, enabling both a long and a short position on the same asset at once
- Market, Limit and Stop Market orders, with Take Profit / Stop Loss and Reduce-Only options
- TradingView charts embedded in the order screen
- A calculator that shows the estimated liquidation price before placing an order
- A public API for algorithmic strategies
The platform also includes a liquidation estimate feature to help traders see where a leveraged position would be unwound prior to execution, and the public API is intended to support automated approaches.
Availability, onboarding and promotion
Trading is live on the web at outpoll.com and in the Outpoll app on Google Play. Existing users will find the Trading section available within their accounts and operating on the balance they already hold. New users who register early can apply promocode "NEW100" to receive a bonus that may be used to discount trading fees or increase position size, subject to platform terms.
