Risks

  • Significant drop in U.S. crude oil prices - September crude fell 6.47% to $79.64 a barrel - which could create volatility for energy-related firms and sectors.
  • Currency fluctuations - modest moves in USD/MXN and EUR/MXN may introduce exchange-rate sensitivity for exporters and importers.
  • Concentration of gains in specific sectors (Industrials and Consumer categories) leaves other areas potentially vulnerable to profit-taking or sector rotation.
