Key Points

  • Introduction of IQ Solid-State Transformer designed for high-density AI data centers with rapid dynamic load response.
  • Manufacturing of IQ SST power modules has started domestically in Texas, emphasizing scalable U.S.-based production.
  • Full-system demonstrations planned for late 2026 with customer pilots in 2027, signaling upcoming commercialization and market adoption potentials.

FREMONT, Calif., Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENPH), a global energy technology company, today announced its participation in AI Infra Summit 2026, from Sept. 15-17, 2026 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California. Enphase will be at Booth 1454, showcasing its approach to next-generation AI data center power infrastructure, including the IQ® Solid-State Transformer (IQ SST).

On Sept. 15 at 12:00 p.m. PDT, Raghu Belur, co-founder and chief product officer at Enphase Energy, will present “Solid-State Transformers: Speed to Power” on the AI Data Center Track.

The IQ SST is being developed to convert medium-voltage AC directly to 800 VDC for high-density AI data centers, with expected sub-millisecond response to dynamic AI loads. Its distributed architecture is designed to scale to racks up to 5 MW.

“AI data centers are forcing the industry to rethink how power moves from the grid to the rack,” said Raghu Belur. “At AI Infra Summit, we will show how Enphase is applying high-frequency magnetics, GaN power switching, custom silicon, and scalable domestic manufacturing to this challenge.”

Enphase recently began building IQ SST power modules at its manufacturing facility in Arlington, Texas, to assemble and validate full-scale IQ SST racks. A video of the power modules coming off the Enphase manufacturing line is available here.

Full-system demonstrations of IQ SST racks are expected in November 2026, with customer pilots planned for 2027. To learn more about IQ SST, visit the Enphase website.
