Bybit, which the company describes as the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has introduced the Bybit Card to the Peruvian market. The launch aims to convert users' digital asset balances into everyday spending power through a virtual payment card that supports both Peruvian Soles and US Dollars.
The Bybit Card is already in use by more than 3 million customers globally and is positioned as a year-round rewards card for routine purchases. Cardholders can earn between 2% and 10% cashback on qualifying purchases, and the product promises 100% rebates on selected digital subscriptions such as Netflix and Spotify.
To mark the Peruvian rollout, Bybit is offering a limited-time welcome package that can total up to 120 USDT for new users who meet a set of conditions. Prospective cardholders must apply, complete identity verification, and deposit the equivalent of at least 100 USDT into their Bybit account. Those steps unlock two elements of the bundle:
- 10 USDT airdrop: credited to the user’s Bybit account after the qualifying top-up;
- Up to 110 USDT cashback booster: a 10% cashback rate applied to qualifying lifestyle spending during the first 30 days, with a cap of 110 USDT.
The card is available as a virtual product without an issuance fee or an annual charge. It is designed to let Peruvian users spend their Bybit balances at a wide range of merchants worldwide, whether online, in-store, or inside apps. For international transactions the card uses US Dollars, while domestic purchases can be made in Peruvian Soles.
Bybit frames the Card around a simple premise: that crypto and fiat should be as mobile as their holders. To that end, the card pulls spending balances directly from the customer’s Bybit account, simplifying asset management and reducing the need to convert holdings beforehand.
"Peru’s financial landscape has undergone a quiet but meaningful transformation in recent years as its young, mobile-first population has embraced digital payments. With the Bybit Card, Peruvians can spend PEN at home and spend USD anywhere when they explore the world, without friction," said Patricio Mesri, Country Manager for Spanish-speaking Latin America at Bybit.
Product highlights listed by Bybit include tiered cashback between 2% and 10% depending on the category, dual-currency functionality for USD and PEN, and instant virtual activation with no issuance or annual fees. The company also notes that foreign exchange conversion fees may apply for transactions conducted in currencies other than the balance currency.
Another headline feature is the subscription rebate program. Bybit advertises full refunds on eligible digital services, naming Netflix and Spotify among the services for which cardholders can receive 100% rebates when those subscriptions meet the program’s qualifying criteria.
Bybit describes Peru as a strategic market within Latin America and says the Card’s debut is part of a broader effort to expand access to payment and financial tools across emerging markets in the region. The company frames the move as aligned with the maturation of Latin America’s digital payments infrastructure and the evolution of regulatory frameworks in the region.
All promotional elements - including the welcome bundle, cashback offers, and subscription rebates - are subject to terms and conditions. Bybit directs users to eligibility and reward detail pages for complete information about qualifying transactions and any limitations.
In its corporate materials, Bybit states it serves more than 80 million users worldwide and positions itself as a platform that integrates investing, trading, payments, and wealth-building tools. The company highlights the combination of AI-powered technology, global liquidity, and security as elements of its platform proposition.
