Risks

  • Sharp moves in individual stocks - including stocks reaching all-time highs and lows - can increase volatility in the Technology and Optoelectronic sectors.
  • Significant upward moves in crude and Brent oil prices introduce uncertainty for energy-sensitive sectors and broader market sentiment, given crude rose 5.87% and Brent rose 5.12% on the session.
  • Anomalous or incomplete exchange-level advancing/declining data (recorded as 0 to 0 for the session) can complicate assessments of overall market breadth and make interpretation of market internals uncertain.
