ENvue Medical announced that a 255-bed Virginia nonprofit regional medical center affiliated with the Mayo Clinic Care Network has adopted its ENvue™ Navigation Platform. This marks the company's 40th U.S. hospital customer. The technology enables nursing-led bedside feeding tube placement, increasing efficiency by shifting procedures from interventional radiology to clinical staff at the point of care, enhancing patient-centered care and standardizing feeding tube procedures across care teams.

Key Points

  • The Virginia-based medical center serving 300,000+ people is now using ENvue’s minimally invasive electromagnetic navigation system for feeding tube placement.
  • The transition to a nursing-led bedside model reduces reliance on resource-intensive departments like interventional radiology while maintaining clinical precision.
  • ENvue’s platform is FDA 510(k) cleared for adult use and offers real-time visualization, supporting informed decision-making during feeding tube placement procedures.
