Stellantis has confirmed internal leadership adjustments in its Enlarged Europe Organization, designating Santo Ficili as chief executive of the Maserati brand while he continues to serve as CEO of Alfa Romeo. The company said the changes will take effect on July 1.
In parallel, Luca Napolitano will take on the role of Head of Stellantis &You Sales and Services. Stellantis said both Ficili and Napolitano will report directly to Emanuele Cappellano.
The appointments come in the wake of the exit of Jean-Philippe Imparato, who is leaving Stellantis after a 36-year tenure with the company.
"I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Jean-Philippe for his unparalleled contribution to our Company, in which he spent his entire professional life. Jean-Philippe has been a true example of how to combine passion with business, inspiring people with his daily commitment and deep knowledge of the automotive industry."
Emanuele Cappellano, who holds the roles of COO for Enlarged Europe & European Brands and Head of Stellantis Pro One, offered the remarks of gratitude and framed the changes as the next step in the organization.
"I congratulate on their appointments Santo and Luca, who are already fully operational within Maserati and Stellantis &You organizations and will ensure continuity in these key areas. Their experience and leadership will be crucial in this new stage of growth."
The company statement highlights continuity as an explicit objective during the transition. Cappellano’s comments identify continuity and leadership experience as central to the handover, and confirm the two executives’ reporting line and effective date without additional operational detail.
This personnel shift consolidates responsibilities within Stellantis’ regional structure for Europe and for its European brands. The announcement provides specific names, roles, reporting relationships and the timeline for implementation but stops short of detailing any further organizational or strategic adjustments beyond the appointments themselves.
