PETERSBURG, Fla., Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Coastal Insurance Corporation (Nasdaq Ticker: ACIC) (“the Company”, “American Coastal” or “ACIC”), the insurance holding company of American Coastal Insurance Company, today announced that its newly formed subsidiary, ACES Specialty Insurance Company (“ACES”), has received a Certificate of Authority from the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions to transact excess and surplus (“E&S”) lines of insurance.

The Company initially plans to underwrite catastrophe exposed commercial E&S property business through ACES in Florida, Texas, and South Carolina, building on AmCoastal’s experience in coastal commercial property.

“Receiving ACES’s Certificate of Authority is an important milestone for American Coastal and marks the start of a bold new chapter for our organization’s long-term strategy,” said Brad Martz, President and Chief Executive Officer. “With ACES, we can now serve a much wider range of commercial property risks in markets we know well. ACES expects to begin writing business on or about December 1, 2026, subject to customary regulatory, rating agency, and other operational requirements.
