Bybit has introduced a targeted, performance-based program to support new and upgrading merchants seeking Verified Advertiser Plus (VA+) status on its P2P platform. Selected participants can earn 100, 200, or 400 USDT every two weeks by meeting advertiser and activity thresholds, with enrollment restricted by geography and prior Bybit verification history.

Bybit Unveils P2P Verified Advertiser Growth Program With Up to 400 USDT Bi-Weekly Rewards

Key Points

  • Bybit's program provides bi-weekly performance-based rewards of 100, 200, or 400 USDT to qualifying merchants who meet VA+ status and activity requirements - impacts the P2P marketplace and stablecoin liquidity.
  • Eligibility is limited to new Verified Advertisers on Bybit, merchants upgrading from tiers such as GA, and VA+ holders from other exchanges who have not previously succeeded in a VA application on Bybit - affects merchant onboarding and exchange competition dynamics.
  • Participation is selection-based, excludes the Middle East and South Asia, and is limited to a maximum of two program rounds per merchant - influences geographical reach and program scale.

Dubai, UAE - Bybit has launched the Bybit P2P Verified Advertiser Growth Program, a structured, multi-cycle initiative designed to accelerate merchant onboarding and activity for sellers seeking Verified Advertiser Plus (VA+) status on the exchange's peer-to-peer marketplace.

The program offers performance-based incentives distributed every two weeks. Eligible participants can receive rewards of 100 USDT, 200 USDT, or 400 USDT based on their results within each evaluation period. The payments are routed via the Bybit Rewards Hub and must be claimed manually by qualifying merchants.

Eligibility and geographic scope

The initiative targets several merchant groups: merchants who are new Verified Advertisers (VA) on Bybit P2P; existing merchants upgrading from tiers such as General Advertiser (GA) to VA; and merchants who already maintain VA+ status on other cryptocurrency exchanges but have not previously succeeded in a VA application on Bybit. A clear qualification condition is that applicants must not have any prior successful VA application on Bybit.

The program is open globally with specific regional exceptions. It excludes participants located in the Middle East and South Asia. Participation is by selection only - merchants interested in joining must complete a registration process and state their primary trading currency. Those chosen for the program will be contacted directly by the Bybit P2P team for formal enrollment.

Operational requirements and performance criteria

Each program round runs on a two-week cycle. During that period participants are required to maintain VA+ merchant status and satisfy explicit trading activity benchmarks. The merchant requirements include keeping at least two active advertisements live on the P2P marketplace, with one of those advertisements explicitly offering USDT for sale. Advertisements must be active for a minimum of 50 hours per week, and must remain active for at least six hours each weekday from Monday through Friday.

Merchants can participate in up to two program rounds in total to broaden onboarding reach while capping individual exposure to incentives. Performance is evaluated bi-weekly and rewards are issued only to merchants who meet the program thresholds during each evaluation window. Participants who fail to meet requirements in a given period will not receive that period's incentive.

Distribution and administrative details

Rewards are disbursed through the Bybit Rewards Hub, where qualifying merchants must manually claim their payments. The two-week review cadence provides frequent feedback and payout opportunities, aligning merchant activity with the platform's VA+ expectations. Selection-based enrollment, the regional exclusions, the limit of two participations per merchant, and the condition that applicants lack prior VA approval on Bybit are explicit controls governing the program's scope and reach.

Strategic framing from Bybit

Bybit characterizes the Verified Advertiser Growth Program as part of its ongoing efforts to promote merchant development and to cultivate a more active and trusted peer-to-peer trading environment. The company positions the program as supportive of merchant visibility, credibility, and trading activity within the Bybit P2P marketplace.

About Bybit

Bybit is described as the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and serves a global community of over 80 million users. Founded in 2018, the company emphasizes Web3 engagement, strategic partnerships with blockchain protocols, secure custody, diverse marketplaces, and tools intended to bridge TradFi and DeFi. Bybit presents the program as consistent with its broader mission to simplify and open the decentralized ecosystem.

Contact and additional information

Merchants seeking to express interest must register and declare their primary trading currency; selected applicants will be contacted by the Bybit P2P team. Media inquiries may be directed to the contact provided by Bybit. The program details note the manual claim process for rewards via the Bybit Rewards Hub and reiterate that non-compliant merchants are ineligible for that evaluation period's incentive.

This announcement highlights a targeted merchant incentive aimed at increasing activity and standards within a specific segment of Bybit’s P2P marketplace, with clearly defined eligibility, activity, and geographic limitations.

Risks

  • Merchants who do not meet the activity thresholds during a two-week evaluation period will not receive rewards - creates execution risk for individual merchants and may affect P2P activity rates.
  • Selection-only enrollment and the exclusion of the Middle East and South Asia restrict the program's accessibility and could limit the pool of participating merchants - introduces geographic and access-related uncertainty for market impact.
  • Requirement that applicants have no prior successful VA application on Bybit limits eligibility and could slow cumulative merchant adoption within the program - constrains the speed of onboarding for some merchant segments.
