On the downside, National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL:2090) fell 3.57% or 0.47 points to 12.70 at the close. Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (TADAWUL:2360) declined 2.78% or 0.57 points to 19.94, while Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (TADAWUL:2030) was down 2.60% or 1.50 points to 56.30.

Decliners outpaced advancers on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, with 201 stocks falling compared with 125 advancing; 30 issues finished unchanged.

Notably, shares of National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL:2090) dropped to five-year lows, sliding 3.57% or 0.47 to 12.70.

Commodities markets showed upward pressure on oil prices during the session. Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.67% or 1.53 to $93.01 a barrel. Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.01% or 0.98 to $97.98 a barrel. By contrast, the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.80% or 35.64 to trade at $4,440.96 a troy ounce.

Foreign exchange rates were broadly steady. EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 4.36, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.76. The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 98.89.

The trading day reflected narrow headline movement in the benchmark index alongside mixed individual stock performances and divergent commodity moves, with oil ticking higher and gold retreating.
