WISeSat.Space and FOSSA Systems Confirm October 2026 Satellite Launch, Advancing the QSOC Constellation Roadmap

New mission builds on four years of collaboration to integrate post-quantum security, hardware roots of trust and digital identity into hardened satellite platforms.

Geneva, Switzerland / Madrid, Spain — October 8, 2026 — WISeSat.Space Holdings Corp., Nasdaq: SAIQ) (“WISeSat”), a space technology company and FOSSA Systems today confirmed a new satellite launch scheduled for October 2026. The mission will mark the beginning of a new series of launches into orbit that will support the progressive development of QSOC, the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud, and its vision for decentralized, quantum-resilient and sovereign space infrastructure.

The announcement builds on four years of cooperation between the companies, including WISeSat’s investment in FOSSA Systems. This collaboration supports the integration of post-quantum security, hardware roots of trust and digital identity into hardened satellite platforms, combining FOSSA’s satellite engineering and operations capabilities with WISeSat’s secure space infrastructure strategy.
Alongside the announcement, the companies are unveiling a first look at images captured from orbit by a WISeSat spacecraft, including a view taken over the WISeSat.Space headquarters.

Extending trust across satellites, ground infrastructure and user endpoints

QSOC is designed to bring the space infrastructure itself inside the trusted security perimeter. Its architecture combines hardware protection, authenticated digital identities, quantum-resilient cryptography and secure key management with high-performance symmetric encryption.
Hardware roots of trust are intended to protect cryptographic keys and support verification of devices and software. Digital identities enable authentication of satellites, ground stations and connected endpoints, while post-quantum cryptography strengthens the roadmap for key establishment and digital signatures against future quantum computing threats.

These technologies will be introduced progressively through successive missions, testing and integration milestones, building an end-to-end trust architecture capable of evolving throughout the constellation’s operational life.

Enabling sovereign hybrid constellations

The launch series will support a modular constellation architecture, allowing additional satellites, security capabilities and services to be incorporated over time.

QSOC is intended to enable hybrid constellations combining dedicated WISeSat satellites, compatible partner-operated space assets and terrestrial networks within a common trust framework. This approach aims to give governments, enterprises and critical infrastructure operators greater control over digital identities, cryptographic keys, data access and service governance.

The long-term objective is to establish decentralized orbital infrastructure supporting secure IoT connectivity, trusted data exchange and resilient communications for sovereign and commercial applications.

Carlos Moreira, Founder and CEO of WISeSat.Space, noted, “Over the past four years, our collaboration with FOSSA Systems has helped establish the foundations for trusted space infrastructure. The October launch marks the next step in our QSOC roadmap, progressively bringing post-quantum security, hardware roots of trust and digital identity into orbit. Our ambition is to enable sovereign hybrid constellations where trust extends from the satellite to the ground infrastructure and every connected endpoint.”
