(the “Company”) (Nasdaq: SBLK), an international maritime shipping company based in the Marshall Islands specializing in the transportation of dry bulk commodities, today announced the offering price range (the “Offering Price Range”) for its offering in Greece of up to 4,400,000 new common registered voting shares of the Company, par value $0.01 each (the “New Shares” and such offering, the “Offering”).

The range for the offering price of the New Shares is €23.00 to €25.50 (in U.S. dollar is $26.75 - $29.66(1)). The final offering price of the New Shares in the Offering will be determined within the Offering Price Range, and will be published in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements upon completion of the Offering.

The New Shares have not been, and will not be, registered under the U.S. federal securities laws or the securities laws of any other jurisdiction, and the New Shares may not be offered or sold in the United States or to U.S. persons unless the New Shares are registered under the Securities Act, or an exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act is available.
