MANILA, Philippines, Sept. 07, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Moneymax, the Philippines platform of MoneyHero Limited (NASDAQ: MNY), today announced a partnership with East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) to expand access to personal loan products for Filipino consumers.

The collaboration establishes an acquisition partnership focused on personal loans, enabling consumers to discover EastWest personal loan offerings through Moneymax’s platform. Consumers may begin their journey on Moneymax, complete a lead form, and seamlessly continue through a streamlined digital application experience, with application details securely transmitted to EastWest for processing.

The partnership comes amid sustained growth in consumer lending in the Philippines. According to data from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), consumer loans, which include credit cards and general-purpose loans, expanded by 21.4% year-on-year in December 2025, outpacing growth in business lending. The data underscores the continued relevance of consumer lending as Filipino borrowers seek accessible and flexible financing solutions.

By adding EastWest to its platform, Moneymax continues to broaden the range of established lending institutions available for consumers to compare, while supporting EastWest’s digital customer acquisition strategy.
