Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, July 16th, 2026 - Bitunix, a global cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, has launched the Bitunix Card, a Visa-branded payment card designed to let users use digital assets for everyday purchases while earning returns on idle balances.
The card is intended to reduce friction between trading accounts and point-of-sale spending by consolidating payments and reward features within a single product. Bitunix says the card can be used at more than 130 million merchants worldwide that accept Visa, enabling payments for routine services and subscriptions including Uber, ChatGPT, Amazon, Spotify and Netflix, and for international travel. Transactions are processed instantly so that spending proceeds like with a conventional payment card.
The Bitunix Card provides up to 8% cashback on eligible purchases, with rewards capped at 1,000 USDT per month. Card holders may also receive interest on eligible balances held on the card account, with yields that can reach as high as 11.6% per year depending on the asset and the applicable terms.
To facilitate regional payment use, Bitunix says the card is compatible with major digital wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal, and will work with selected regional payment platforms and local payment networks. The product is available through Bitunix’s web platform and its iOS and Android applications.
Bitunix has packaged card administration into a unified dashboard. From this interface, users can manage card balances, transfer funds between accounts, track transaction histories, monitor cashback rewards and control card settings. According to Bitunix, these features provide additional utility for USDT beyond trading activities.
Standard regional network processing fees will apply to card payments. Eligible users may be able to offset some or all of these fees via cashback rewards, with the reimbursement level depending on their VIP tier within Bitunix’s program.
"The Bitunix Card goes far beyond payments. It unlocks a seamless, high-yield financial ecosystem built for everyday global commerce," said Steven Gu, Bitunix’s Chief Strategy Officer.
Bitunix has waived both issuance and monthly maintenance fees for the card. Activation requires a minimum transfer of 100 USDT into the card account; Bitunix clarifies that this transfer is not an activation fee and that the funds remain fully available for spending.
Applications for the Bitunix Card are processed through the Bitunix platform. The card is offered to eligible users who have completed the platform’s identity verification process and who reside in supported regions.
Bitunix frames the launch as part of a broader push to integrate cryptocurrency into everyday financial activity by combining payment and earning capabilities in a single product.
