Israel's stock market advanced into the close on Wednesday, driven by gains in the Insurance, Biomed and Financials sectors that supported the benchmark's rise.
At the Tel Aviv close, the TA 35 index finished up 0.97%.

Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd (TASE:CLIS) followed, climbing 8.50% or 1,990.00 points to end the day at 25,400.00. Menora Miv Hld (TASE:MMHD) also showed a strong move, adding 8.48% or 4,030.00 points to close at 51,530.00.
On the downside, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was the weakest performer among the TA 35 components, falling 4.13% or 960.00 points to close at 22,260.00. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 3.41% or 1,180.00 points to end at 33,460.00, while Next Vision Stabilized Systems (TASE:NXSN) slipped 3.30% or 1,130.00 points to 33,090.00.
Market breadth at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange showed a slight tilt toward decliners: 243 stocks fell while 231 advanced, and 77 finished unchanged.
Commodities showed notable moves during the session. Crude oil for May delivery fell 2.49% or 2.30 to trade at $90.05 a barrel. Brent oil for June delivery dropped 3.14% or 3.15 to $97.08 a barrel. By contrast, the June Gold Futures contract rose 3.59% or 159.24 to trade at $4,593.34 a troy ounce.
In currency trading, USD/ILS was effectively unchanged, moving 0.07% to 3.12, while EUR/ILS fell 0.43% to 3.61. The US Dollar Index Futures increased 0.14% to 99.38.
