Israel's main index closed modestly lower on Tuesday, with the TA 35 down 0.35% as declines in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors outpaced gains elsewhere. Market breadth favored decliners, and individual stock moves ranged from double-digit losses to mid-single-digit gains. Commodities and currency markets also moved: international crude futures climbed while gold and select currency pairs showed modest shifts.

Israel stocks finished the trading day in Tel Aviv lower on Tuesday, with losses concentrated in Biomed, Technology and Real Estate names and the benchmark TA 35 ending the session down 0.35%.

Among the index components, Next Vision Stabilized Systems (TASE:NXSN) led the gainers, rising 5.55% - equal to 1,630.00 points - to close at 31,000.00. Navitas Petroleum LP Unit (TASE:NVPTp) added 5.17% or 680.00 points to finish at 13,840.00. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) advanced 2.66%, up 2,520.00 points, to 97,130.00.

On the downside, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) recorded the sharpest decline among TA 35 names, sliding 12.97% or 7,880.00 points to close at 52,890.00. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) dropped 3.92% - a decrease of 1,040.00 points - to 25,460.00, a move that took the stock to five-year lows. Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) fell 2.69% or 740.00 points to end the session at 26,760.00.

Market breadth on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange skewed negative, with 274 stocks declining versus 197 advancers, and 80 issues finishing unchanged.

In commodity markets, crude oil for June delivery rose 3.93% or 3.85 to trade at $101.92 a barrel. Brent crude for July delivery gained 3.54% or 3.69 to reach $107.90 a barrel. Precious metals moved differently: the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 43.80 to $4,684.90 a troy ounce.

Currency and dollar measures showed modest moves. USD/ILS was up 0.45% to 2.91, while EUR/ILS was noted unchanged 0.04% to 3.42. The US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.45%, trading at 98.26.
