On the downside in the TecDAX, TeamViewer AG (ETR:TMV) dropped 2.03% to 4.35, Ottobock SE & Co KgaA (ETR:OBCK) lost 1.15% to settle at 51.80 and Siltronic AG (ETR:WAFGn) fell 1.04% to 52.20.
New lows and volatility
Shares in AUTO1 Group SE (ETR:AG1G) reached 52-week lows, falling 2.22% or 0.34 to 14.98. TeamViewer AG (ETR:TMV) fell to all-time lows, down 2.03% or 0.09 to 4.35.
Volatility readings for the DAX rose during the session. The DAX volatility index - which measures implied volatility in DAX options - increased 3.80% to 33.77, marking a new six-month high for that measure.
Commodities and currencies
- Gold futures for June delivery were higher, up 1.92% or 87.60 to $4,645.10 a troy ounce.
- Crude oil for May delivery rose 1.67% or 1.72 to $104.60 a barrel.
