Risks

  • Individual stock volatility remains elevated - some large moves were recorded (for example Lanxess up 17.35% and Jenoptik up 14.57%), which can increase sector-level uncertainty for Chemicals, Technology and Industrials.
  • Software sector weakness is evident as SAP SE fell to a 52-week low, indicating downside risk for select large-cap tech and enterprise software names.
  • Energy and commodity price moves - declines in crude and Brent could affect energy and industrial sector revenues and margins, introducing near-term uncertainty.
