YPF SA engages in oil and gas production in Argentina. It operates through the following business segments: Upstream, Midstream and Downstream, LNG and Integrated Gas, New Energies, and Central Administration and Others. The New Energies segment created and during the current fiscal year the complete management scope of this new business unit was determined. The Central Administration and Others segment includes the remaining activities performed by the Company that do not fall within the aforementioned business segments and which are not reporting business segments, mainly comprising revenues, expenses and assets related to: (i) corporate administrative; (ii) the production of frac sand for well drilling and fracking purposes; (iii) the construction activities through subsidiary A-Evangelista S.A.; and (iv) digital development services and solutions through subsidiary YPF Digital S.A.U. The company was founded on June 2, 1977 and is headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
